Massage

How does MassageLogic work?

Our services are easy to order, organize, and implement. Whether you have you been asked to research your wellness service options, compare prices, or your company has already given you the green light, we've got you covered! Email us at info@massagelogic.com to receive a quote. Once we have confirmed your service order ML, will set a date to begin services. We will coordinate our efforts to secure a private zone in the office to practice. Once a service contract is signed and the logistics are settled, ML will create your company's personal scheduling link and send the team in charge of our contract all the details of service. While in-house communications with our clients email is always an option, but for greater efficiency and security we ask your company to add us to your interoffice communications platform (a simple single-channel access works great). TIP: Did you get the green light but you're still having a hard time finding enough budget dollars to commit? ML recommends that you reach out to other teams to split the costs of weekly massage or yoga.

What type of services does MassageLogic offer?

Chair or table massage: Clients remain clothed during onsite massage services. MassageLogic therapists are well-versed in sports, Thai massage, Shiatsu, deep tissue, swedish, and prenatal techniques. Range-of-motion exercises are available upon request. Additionally, ML offers meditation, yoga, art night, self-care, couples massage, and a host of other workshops.

How does MassageLogic vett their practitioners?

MassageLogic therapists, yoga instructors, and workshop practitioners are personally vetted by MassageLogic owner Carrie Stone. All practitioners are required to complete their professional training at an accredited school, maintain all pertinent state and local business permits, Dept of Health permits, and carry professional liability insurance. Each practitioner is also required to demonstrate their therapeutic techniques, service experience, and workshop programming.

What does MassageLogic charge for their services?

MassageLogic charges by the hour for massage, yoga, and meditation services (minus lunch breaks or therapist-related absences). For conferences and offsite functions ML will charge a flat rate for the entire event. MassageLogic will invoice on behalf of all practitioners on a monthly basis. As an ongoing company sponsored perk, MassageLogic will set up ACH payments with your accounting team and bill them directly. Payment options: Credit cards and direct deposits

How many massages can our employees receive per month?

Frequency of services depends on the size of your company and the amount of massage days that are available. Example: Full massage service days can range from 13-16 services if your company offers 15-min massages. How many massages your employees will get per month can range from 1/week or 2/month for small to midsize companies and 1 or 2 massages per month for larger companies.

What are the most common session lengths?

Massage: 15-min or 25-min. Yoga: 30-min (min 2 sessions required per day) or 55-min. Meditation: 30-min (min 2 sessions required per day). Workshops: 3-5 hours.

How many days of massage do you recommend?

Our minimum is 1 day per week for at least 3 hours. You can offer services 5-days per week or more, space permitting. Keep in mind: a) 10-5pm shift will accommodate approximately 18 people if the sessions are 15-min ea. b) 10-5pm shift will accommodate approximately 12 people if the sessions are 25-min ea.

Can our employees book with a MassageLogic therapist outside of work?

Yes! Our therapists are the best! They build a loyal fanbase of clients where ever they work. MassageLogic encourages your employees to take down information about their favorite therapist’s private practice and receive longer sessions. Psst… ML therapists may offer discounts to their corporate clients.

How much clothing should I remove during a massage?

No need to disrobe! All corporate massage services are administered while the client is fully clothed. Wearing a dress? We offer blankets for modesty.

Will our company be required to pay for parking or set up and break down costs?

Never. Your company will be charged a flat hourly rate for services which will begin when services commence and end at the conclusion of services each day. Your company will never be charged for set up and break down activities, parking, or transportation for any of our contractors.

Will our company be required to provide anything for the massage therapist?

MassageLogic will ask for a small space to work and a storage closet to hold our equipment and supplies. If your company uses Slack, we request that a single-channel be created so we can communicate about massage related business with your staff.

Is our company charged when our employees cancel massage their appointments?

No. Your staff can cancel via our booking system or in the massage channel. When your employees need to cancel, our therapists will actively seek out a replacement client and offer a full or shortened session (depending on when the cancellation notification was received). The session is usually rescheduled quickly. It has been our experience that a dedicated massage channel allows employees to monitor the channel for availability and quickly respond to appointment announcements. This perk will rarely go unused or underutilized.

What is MassageLogic’s cancellation policy?

Company: We ask your company for 24-hours prior notice if your team is going to be at an off-site or engaged in a company-wide event, which will require that our services must be cancelled. Same day cancellation (when appointments have been already booked) will result in 50% of your daily service being charged to your account. Clients: Clients or the company are never charged extra for missed or canceled sessions. We will do everything in our power to reschedule the open appointment and maximize our service time while onsite.

What if the practitioner's book of appointments is not filled entirely?

This is such a rarity! Massage: In the infrequent cases of unused appointments, our therapists will post announcements about availability or appointment swaps. Additionally, if one or two sessions go unfilled, appointments are missed, or clients are late, MassageLogic will still charge for that service. Yoga: Your company will designate the class maximum for each yoga session. The yoga instructor is paid for the class, not by the amount of people in attendence.

Our company is expanding! Can MassageLogic provide services for our satellite office?

Yes, we can! MassageLogic is currently operating in CA, NY, and CO, but we are capable of replicating our massage program in any US city where massage is permitted. Ask us about your new office location and we will find the best therapist in the area!

Does MassageLogic offer monthly usage reports?

MassageLogic therapists use a brief intake form to gather pertinent health information from each client. At the end of the month, the intakes are tallied and the person or team who manages our program will receive a usage report with the following details: name and/or employee email, location (if multiple office sites), and total appointments used. We respect your company and employee's privacy. We will never break our clients's confidentiality. We will never share, sell, or other compromise your company or employee's data, products, or personal information.

How does the mediation and yoga program work?

MassageLogic only works with the most skilled and practiced yoga instructors. - Yoga instructors are required to be certified, insured, and praciticing with a reputable yoga studio. - In-office yoga sessions will require space for 5-10 participants. - The company or employees are required to bring their own mats, bolsters, and blankets. - Ideally, your company will request yoga services for 1/day or 1/week. - Yoga sessions are either 30-mins or 60-mins in length. - For a yoga instructor to visit your office ML needs at least 1-hour of confirmed service time. Tip: If your company culture prefers shorter yoga sessions we ask that you book TWO 30-min sessions in order to meet our minimum booking requirement.

Who is responsible for paying for massage, yoga, or mediation services?

Our business model has been designed for maximum utilization and employee access. While all of our services are fully company subsidized, we understand that every company does not have the budget to manage that sort of expense. So what else is possible? Company and employees can split the cost of any of our services. It is our goal to bring massage to as many companies as possible. We will work with your company to curate the exact right service package and dial in the most reasonable payment options.
